I am having trouble letting go of my CD player and would like your opinion on whether to have both a DAC and a CD player makes sense.
My system consists of:
Audio Research SP-16
Audio Research VS-110
Audio Research CD3 Mk II
Tw-Acustic Raven 1 / Benz Wood S / Ortofon 309S
Aesthetix Rhea
Vandersteen Quatro
I am planning to purchase an Audio Research DAC-8 to use with a mac mini.
Any thoughts would be welcome, including the choice of the DAC, as this is the first time I am seriously getting into computer based music. I do listen to Vinyl 60-70% of the time.
