I picked up a Used Cisco Catalyst WS-C2960-8TC-S network switch on EBay for $35 and It sounds better than a simple netgear switch with the supplied power supply.

As mentioned here by Roger Skoff https://positive-feedback.com/audio-discourse/the-state-of-the-art-roger-skoff-writes-about-it/ https://www.spertilo.net Now we need a PI wizard how to make this work via Ethernet with an Allo USB board.

I have an Allo USB bridge with the shanti power supply running diet pi as a roon endpoint and roon rock running on a home built server. I know nothing about Linux, I’m running the system headless and amazingly the whole thing works. Considering an upgrade to the Signature and have a couple of questions. Any subjective thoughts on the magnitude of sound improvement over my current setup? 10% improvement, 50% improvement? Just trying to gauge what to expect. As I said I chose diet pi OS with my usb bridge although I can’t remember why. Any thoughts on the “best” OS for my situation? (No computer skills, truly need a plug and play solution. Running roon with no current need for DSD upsampling or other DSP) what’s a fair price for a used USB bridge? Thanks in advance for any thoughts or guidance.

I’ve had terrible luck getting Qobuz to work well in my ‘17 VW with CarPlay. I can access and play Qobuz through the app on my phone, but the interface on the screen in the car is mostly useless. Had similar issues with Tidal so I’m thinking it’s the fault of the VW. There seems to be no way to update the cars firmware. -
I found the curious cable "link" - the short one designed for Regen type decices - improved the sound quality of my system.
