Cheers Chris, your comments are in line with my current configuration, however there is significant volume differences between computer replay thru the dac and cd transport, I assume thats down to different gain levels across the comp and transport devices. regards, Paul

Hi, I am currently running Itunes on a MAC Mini sending WAV files through a Weiss INT 202 firewire interface into a MSB Platinum DAC (via balanced output) which then hooks up to an integrated amplifier. Across this whole setup I have a volume control on the itunes, mac audio out, weiss int 202 and finally on the integrated amp. The weiss I intend to leave at 0DB (its default position upon power up) but what is the optimal volume settings across such setups. regards and thanks in advance for any info or experience shared.
