  1. My issue is this. I have my library on an external hardrive on an imac. I have not updated to 10.1. I also have a macbook that I wanted to use in another room without the necessity of using shared library. So what I did was buy a Western Digital HDD and copied my library on my other external drive to it. All appeared well. Then I decided to upgrade the mac book from Leopard to Snow Leopard and that is where I ran in to my problem. I hooked the WD up to the macbook and while the library "appeared" all 5,000 songs displayed the dreaded "i." So thinking I may have copied it incorrectly, I deleted the itunes library etc from the Wd and recopied it. Still ran in to the same problem. Yes I have redirected my itunes library on the macbook to the WD to no avail. Is my issue that the library created on the imac and its external harddrive in one version of itunes and thus will not work through the WD on the macbook that is now running Snow Leopard? If so, is there a relatively easy way to remedy the situation? Many thanks. Peter

  3. I have copied my music library from my Mac to an external Lacie HDD. I also have a G Force HDD I would like to use to back up the Lacie HDD. I have copied my itunes library from the Lacie to the G Force. Is there a way to incrementally back up the Lacie to the G Force when adding new songs to my library on the Lacie. Thanks. Peter
