I did a similar test some times ago, with my Benchamrk DAC3B. I have tried with external Paul Hynes SR4T linear power supply. No audible differences. I think Benchmark did a very good job in designing its internal power supply.

Specs have been changed recently. When I have bouth the Amari they said: DSD HIGH-RESOLUTION AUDIO SUPPORT In addition to 24-bit/384 kHz PCM audio playback, Amári supports DSD64, DSD128 and DSD256 over DoP formats. Enjoy clear, present digital audio at sample rates tens of times higher than that of CDs.
