  1. Hi, just downloaded the 0.3. version (but problem also applied to the former versions 0.2.2), started the program, loaded my test aiff track into the playlist, changed the preference from build-in output to Weiss IO, hit play and immediatedly had to press the stop key as the tracks are played with alternating 'clicks'. The 'clicks per minute' increase with the selection of 'upsampling to max'. My setup is mac-mini with iomega based library (USB) then from MacMini to Weiss dac2 with firewire, and so on. Any idea what needs to be changed in order to get it running? really appreciate your work, but like to hear the results myself. cheers be4
  2. Hi Dan, you might have a look at the new Weiss DAC at http://www.weiss-highend.ch/dac202/index.html cheers bernd
  3. Hi Rob, actually I run a similar setup - only with 2 GB of which I use 1 GB as a Ramdisc (but I am still not sure if I really can hear sonic differences). 1 - yes, enough for even HR (192/24) audio, as long as you are not doing a lot of other processes and also not using it for HRvideo 2 - here you need to rely on someone else as I am not to familiar with this topic on Apple 3 - for playing, searching,... almost all; however for editing tags and other more 'complicated' stuff it is really cumbersome, I finally bought a wireless keyboard and a mouse and a LCD for that and I can also use the www sometimes while listening 4 - remote - to be downloaded at the Apple-store. cheers be4
  4. Hi JC, this sounds very interesting, can you please provide some pictures. I assume that you 'pimped' an old version of the MM. From my side I have seen some enhancement when streaming music from a ram-disk rather then a hard-drive or thru networked storage/servers. Best regards be4
