Yes, I did. Thanks, Bob. I think the problem was the SSD thumb drive. So I replaced and all appears well so far.

First, Roon ROCK can not backup to my mac mini. Second, Roon is sometimes not playing some of my songs from an iTunes folder on my NAS. “Failed to load”. Now, ROCK is freezing on my NUC and says it waiting for the Remote Core. When I access my NUC it says: [118804.0006911] EXT4- fs {nume0n1p4}: failed to convert unwritten extents to written extents – potential data loss! (inode 2753555, error -30) The only way to restart the NUC is to unplugged it as the power button doesn’t unfreeze it. Someone, please help, especially on the last one.

Hopefully, someone can help me. I have a mac mini running Roon Server and everything seems fine on that end. I can airplay from the Mac MIni to other speakers. The problem is with the intel NUC (7PJYH) headless and LampizatOr TRP DAC. It keeps losing the connection.The NUC is fed a ethernet line from a switch that includes the Mac Mini. When the Lampi loses the connection, I usually just have to put back the USB with the Roon software into the NUC and reboot and save it and it works fine. But lately it has been losing connection almost every day for the past week. I am not sure if the NUC is saving the configuration as a Roon Bridge though I click to save the new configurations. I updated the NUC and Mac MIni roon software. When I do save the configuration on the NUC and then go to what music software it is using it shows my a blank list but music is still playing from the DAC without the USB in. If someone can give me advice on how to find out what the issue is, it would be much appreciated. I am not a computer novice but do not have much experience with LInux systems.

I use an apple express with RCAs to my Schiit Bifrost but I need to change the apple express. What recommendations are there to connect a wifi signal or Bluetooth to the Bifrost? I use my iPhone mainly for Roon, Tidal and iPlayer Radio.

Same here. My wife and son want nothing to do with connecting airplay speakers. Open Tidal or Spotify hit play, then listen. But what they love the most is listening to BBC6 via the iPlayer Radio app. The human connection of the DJ is something the miss and the other day we heard Prince Buster followed by Fat White Family followed by The Shadows followed by Brian Eno. No algorithm does that for you.

Nice that Amazon will stream good quality content. What frustrates me the most however are the decisions I need to make about platforms. When I had just iTunes it was easy to make playlists and share music because it was basically the only game in town. Then I had MOG, then Spotify, then Tidal with Spotify, then those with Roon, and I have to copy all my playlists over via soundiz. It's not a big deal like famine or war, but it's a pain in the a. I feel I never catch up to having my playlists in sync and I get nickel and dimed with all the services. When Roon and Tidal goes out of business (say it's not so, Joe), then I have to do it again. I'm not really psyched about Amazon going high-res.

I like how the track and lyrics can display on Google Home. Can some people offer other ways to get a display like that?

My airport express got fried from thunderstorm issues this week and I was wondering about an alternative. I run iTunes, tidal, Spotify, and Roon to Schitt Bifrost then to audioengine speakers. Any ideas?

Still having problems with this...anybody have advice? Sometimes the sync works but not always and I can't figure out why that is. Integrated Mode works for about 30 seconds and then goes silent.

Audirvana won't update iTunes playlists now using 2nd method. Audirvana is the newest version. Worked before. My iTunes is on a NAS synology. Every time I push sync it syncs for about 30 seconds and is done. My library is in Audirvana and the playlist names but no files in the playlists. Any advice?

I have the Herus and haven't used it for two years. Plugged it in today. Sounds good. Is this still considered a good mini DAC/AMP? Does anyone use it with iPhone?
