  1. Hi Ted, You are doing a great job supporting SACD/DSD on this forum. In 2000, I bought the Marantz SA-1 SACD player while living in Japan . Initially I grabbed a bunch of the Sony SACD only discs. In Japan, other SACD labels (e.g. Venus) became available too. Enthusiasm faded and I was beginning to think that SACD was becoming another dying format (like Sony's DAT which I had bought when I lived in Japan 10 years earlier). However, when the Hybrid discs arrived, I decided there was nothing to lose (except higher prices) so I have continued to gradually add them to my music collection. I have at least 700 now, about 60% are multichannel. The collection is dominated by classical music (about 60%). I live in Shanghai now and SACDs can not be found. I have a multichannel HiFI setup (using OPPO 105) in my main listening room but have set up a 2 channel computer audio system (Weiss DAD 202, Mac Book Pro, Pure Music) in another room. I have moved countless cds to hard disc. LPs and SACDs have sat on the computer audio sidelines until now. Jason recently sent me a PS3 (actually to my parents) and I'll bring it back to Shanghai in early December when I return from thanksgiving holidays. I'll then commence to rip music on those cool, gray, smog filled days of Shanghai winter. So, could you please PM me your guide and related files for ripping SACDs in Mac OSX? Thanks for you all of your efforts, Gerry Abbott
