Hi,
New to the forum, I have an HTPC with an ATI 5xxx video card which I use to pass sound through via HDMI to a Denon 4810.
In terms of playing back music , how would this compare to some of the high end soundcards (Lynx)and dacs(berkeley), that seem to be quite popular.
If I wanted to use a dac in between the ati and the denon how
would I connect it.
Is there any other setup someone would recommend, I use the ati 5xxx because of the ability to pass through the blu-ray codecs but I want the best possible sound quality when playing back music.
