  1. Hi Tarquineous, I sent you both advices, questions and help - and your entire answer was: William Riley: Thanks anyway... I don't need the problem! I am sorry, we cannot help you. 3D secure Payments When the payment window shows up, you are maybe choosing a 3D secure payment. That is a new improvement to card payment, where you will be checked by your own card issuer. - nothing to do with electronics-shop nor quickpay (Our Payment Gateway). The electronics-shop.dk allows for both 3D and non 3D payments, so if you do not want your card issuer to check you - just use the non 3D payment card. Furthermore you have made mistakes filling out your email and country - US is not member of EU. But thanks for bashing us - I guess US is so much better at serving you. Best Regards Soren Electronics-shop.dk
  2. Hi Tarquineous, Let me help you - it seams you have had a bad experience with our webshop. The only informations that you are asked to enter is your address and company info - if not a private user. We sell to the world - so VAT and fraight is calculated based on your address and company info. On the payment page - which is handled by secure QuickPay.dk, the only info asked, is your payment info - I have just tested it to see nothing is wrong. If you use 3D secure payment there will be an extra challenge question to ensure you are you. We have almost sold the first batch of this USB2ISO module with isolated USB 2.0 and HQ internal isolated powersupply. The next 1K batch is being produced in mid August. Please take screendumps of payment questions and remove your cardinfo from pictures and send them [email protected] - if there is asked for address, email etc. - your PC have been hijacked and I recommend that you ask a PC guru to check it. Hope this helps you - and it is always wise to be on watch on the internet. Best Regards, Soren Electronics-shop.dk
  3. Hi All, Thanx for the answer about "The psychology of sound... or honey!" - it fits so much this discussion - also seen from an engineers point of view. The USB is digital signal and is not influenzed in the same way as analog line signals by cable attenuation. A low cost 2m USB 2.0 cable is just fine. So tell me why there are differences? - are they an illusion? Maybe not entirely - the thickness of the USB cables especially the 2 power cords can influence the DAC both possitively and negatively. The thicker the cable - the lower the resistor. This can give close to nothing more power but might bring a very small change in sound. A thick cable also has a lower inductance and hence transports noise a very little bit better - that might give a very small change in sound. But both has nothing to do with sound quality - The USB->DAC device can with a simple T-Filter, coil and cap filter all power noise problems away. And a DAC normally only uses much less than 1Watt where the USB 2.0 supplies 2.5Watt. So whats the fuss about quality USB cables - Well actually there can be noise in the cables - ground looping noise (Which has nothing to do with quality cables). That is the amplifier is attached to power and has some ground level and the PC is attached to power and has some ground level - maybe just slightly offset or maybe a 100V offset. That can be heard as humming noise when no music is played and the amplifier is set for high output. You can use a USB isolator to remove that noise - We are making one (because we had the problem ourself and wanted a complete solution at low price). See http://electronics-shop.dk/usb-isolator Please don't waste money on USB cables - buy the USB isolator if you have humming or just want to protect your PC & Stereo. If you want cables - buy quality line & speaker cables, thanx. Best Regards, Soren Electronics-shop.dk
