  1. Thank you for the information, Eloise. I will look into those when I get a chance. Always nice to have options to choose from. Thanks again, Freyrlynk
  2. George, Thanks for the response. Actually sent off a quick email to Mr. Hall and was just informed that the DAC25.5 can only handle 16/44.1 via USB, while 24/96 can be used through the others. Now to find a way to get Coax or Optical from my computer to the DAC.... hmmm. Any suggestions? Freyrlynk
  3. Hello, Pretty new to the Computer Audiophile "scene" and have come across my first problem that I hope to find and answer for. I am running Windows 7 64-bit Home Premium on a home-built box and running USB to a Music Hall DAC 25.2. Under the SOUND module of the Control Panel, it is listed as Speakers (USB Audio Device), and under the Advanced tab of Speaker Properties the only Default Formats listed are 3 listed as 16-bit/ (32k,44.1k, and 48k)Hz. I'm not sure I have made an incorrect assumption, but i was under the impression that I would be able to bring 24-bit out from the computer to the DAC. If someone could give me a little bit of education on what I might be missing, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, and I look forward to more CA. Sincerely, Freyrlynk
