  1. SOLD I have a well cared for Uptone Audio ISO REGEN with both of the Uptone USPCB A>B Adapters. One is for horizontal and the other is for vertical mounting to your equipment. They are no longer available and were 35.00 for an extra one when available. I will include the Meanwell 7.5v wall PSU that came with the unit from Uptone. Price is 200.00 shipped in CONT US. Paypal F&F or buyer pays 3% fee.
  2. SOLD JCAT XE USB card (latest rev.1.1) I bought this from Elberoth last year. It has performed way above my expectations. The difference from when I received it from Elberoth was that I put Euphony on it and used as an Endpoint. The sound quality was amazing good. Best I have heard on my past system. I am no longer going to be using USB so I am letting this go. One thing I should not have done was to remove Linux DietPi that he had installed. I never figured out how to reinstall but was so satisfied with Euphony that I didn't care. You can obviously install whatever software you choose to do but I highly recommend you listen to Euphony. You will have to have your own subscription to Euphony or install some other software like Roon Bridge to make it work. There are many options but it isn't plug and play without some effort. Intel board with the N2800 Dual Core CPU, 8GB RAM and a 64GB SSD I am assuming he won't mind me link to exactly what this is. Elberoth has nothing to do with this sale and please direct your questions to me and not him. I will do my best to answer. If this offends him or AS I will remove the lin The case that Elberoth was speaking of in the ad was not the one he ended up sending. "I have put it into a different case - better looking and brand new - as the LED in the old case stopped working and I didn't have the time to troubleshoot it. http://luckyretail.com/Uploadfile/20222/091/202209083/I500312567A1/I500312567A1-10f.jpg Another advantage of this case is that it is about 1" wider, so there is enough space inside to put the Jcat Optimo Nano voltage regulator inside, you decide to upgrade it down the road". I have the original packaging it was shipped to me in. 725.00 obo shipped in CONT US. Paypal Friends and Family or buyer pays 3% fee. In the last picture if forgot to take a piece of black cloth tape that I had put over a blue LED light on the HD that I found distracting in my room. It is no longer there...just in case you might wonder what that is.
  3. I am going to once again try to get NAA installed on my Intel DN2800MT Dual Core CPU, 8GB RAM and a 64GB SSD Atom board. I have never been able to get it to work. I have been told to download NAA image with a link to this page. I see this on NAA page. Euphony 4 Server is installed on the Atom Board right now. I have been told to get an image off of the Images page. I don't know what images to download. Can someone tell me what to use. I have tried various ones on this page and none of them have worked. I don't need directions on the basics. I know how to use BalenaEtcher to get the image on a USB drive. But I don't know what image to use...or why. Thanks for any input.
  4. Thanks for clarifing. As for everything else in the above article, I have read all of that. It has never worked for me for whatever reason. When I get the desire to mess with it again I will post pictures of what I see on my screen. Choosing the specific image on the NAA downloads is probably the problem. I have tried multiple versions of the NAA image and I can't get it to work.
  5. I am using Euphony Endpoint on my Atom/JCAT XE USB mini computer. I really like Euphony but I am trying to move away from subscription based software. I have used HQP for years and years on my music server. I have off and on tried to get HQP endpoint on the Atom/JCAT mini computer. I have not had any success. The only things I have ever installed that was Linux based is Roon Rock and Euphony Stylus and Euphony Endpoint. Those were super easy. It seems that they are not like HQP endpoint. I guess my most basic question is do I need a version of Linux software on my Atom computer before I try to install HQP Endpoint? In my current situation I am trying to install HQP over Euphony Endpoint. I made a painful mistake when I purchased my Atom. It came with DietPi installed and had HQP installed via DietPi. I thought I would never use DietPi and I installed Euphony endpoint over DietPi. DietPi isn't very easy to install on my type Atom computer.

  7. I want to try that. I am not sure how hard it is to put the NAA image on my little Atom computer. No, I never had Euphony v3 Server or v3 Endpoint. The cut and paste I posted was from the search engine on Euphony Support page. I think the quotes cover all the way from Euphony v3 to v4. I know here were some issues regarding HQP and Euphony but I am not really familiar exactly what those are. I will be letting go of my Euphony Stylus V4 and just using the v4 Stylus Endpoint. I don't really have an end goal here. I just like trying to figure out how to make stuff work. If it sounds better than that is great. I have to admit just listening to music is boring to some extent after being an active audiophile since 13 years old...60 now. Tinkering is a must for me to stay interested. I am going to try to figure out how to install HQP NAA on the endpoint and then I can play with HQP desktop to HQP NAA. But HQP is on my HTPC and while it is built with the idea of being audiophile type via hardware and software and power supplies, it is still an extra unneeded computer in the mix. As of right now, I don't need to turn on my HTPC for music playback since I am not using HQP. I boot up my Euphony v4 Endpoint on the Intel DN2800MT/ JCAT XE USB box. Then use my Macbook Pro Bootcamped W10 to point my Roon Rock to the Stylus Endpoint via Roon Squeezebox Support. I am limited to 192k via Squeezebox but my Lyngdorf resamples everything to 24/96 so not a problem at all. If I am being lazy I can use my HTPC > Roon Rock > HQPlayer HDMI > Lyngdorf. It sounds completely acceptable for music in the house daily. Next I am looking into audiophile switches or used EtherREGEN. Not sure but my tinkering bug is pretty satisfied for now.
  8. I just found this.. The HQPlayer to Euphony Endpoint is broken for good it seems. I can still use Euphony Endpoint via Squeezebox protocol no problem and it sounds really, really good so the simplest thing, Roon > Euphony Endpoint is very reliable. I think I am letting go of my Euphony Server and just staying with the Endpoint. Thank God I can relax and just listen to some music now.. 😅 Jussi wasn't sure what was up with my dilemma. I might try to dual boot my endpoint with HQP NAA and try that for comparision. Roon->HQPlayer playback and Roon->StylusEP playback (via HQPlayer protocol) Due to recent changes in Roon playback From Roon to HQPlayer is no longer possible. Playback from Roon to StylusEP via HQPlayer protocol is also not possible. Playback from Roon to StylusEP is still possible via Squeezebox protocol. If StylusEP does not show automatically in Roon as Squeezebox device you have to enable Squeezebox in Roon client. Both issues are caused by Roon requiring a specific minimum version of HQPlayer (4.29). Roon requires this in order to check if the endpoint at the other end is a genuine HQPlayer program. Since HQPlayer stopped being compatible with Euphony OS v3 somewhere around version 4.24 we cannot provide required HQPlayer binary so Roon->HQPlayer playback is broken. We will solve this issue in upcoming v4 where we can install and use the latest HQPlayer versions. Roon->StylusEP playback via HQPlayer protocol cannot be fixed at all. Roon just doesn't want to communicate via HQP protocol with anything but the original HQPlayer. Please use StylusEP via Squeezebox protocol.
  9. This is what I have. I read that I should try NetworkAudioAdapter IPv6 and if that doesn't work try NetworkAudioAdapter. But the Device box under Backend is always blank. I am not sure how HQP is supposed to find the Euphony/NAA on my home network. I ended up putting my switch back in the system so I can run my Atom/JCAT XE USB Euphony Endpoint. It works fine when I use the Euphony Endpoint with Roon but not here.
  10. I need to figure out how to simply connect HQPlayer > Euphony Endpoint/NAA. I can't get this simple setup working. I don't know what to do with the setting in HQP. I have tried everything I can find this morning on the internet and nothing is working. I know how to use HQP with Roon or by itself. But I can't get the Euphony NAA to work. This is what it says on my Euphony Endpoint Web Page.
  11. Thanks for the input. I did get it working last weekend with the bridged connection. I will say that I could play music using Roon to see the Euphony Endpoint with the bridged connection in Windows 10. I could get Euphony Server working with the Euphony Endpoint as well. But the issue was that while Euphony Endpoint would play, it was not able to connect to the internet when it was trying to verify registration. After 100 attempts to connect Euphony Endpoint reverts to unregistered status. But it will play. Here is my setup I am working with. Asus Rog Maximus X Apex: This mobo has two separate ethernet ports plus I have a JCAT Femto Netcard that I was using it when I got the bridge working. 4 ports in all to choose from. I also have the JCAT XE USB card that can be in the Atom/JCAT endpoint or put it back into the computer. This is basically a HTPC built like an audiophile computer with Intel i7-8700 CPU. I dual boot into Euphony Server. Roon Rock runs on a NUC with QNAP NAS in the closet. My reason to try this is that I used to use a switch in the A/V system. I really don't need a switch as I can run my Lyngdorf on wifi and that's just for web interface. Right now I have the JCAT XE USB card back in the HTPC. I use Roon and HQPlayer out to the USB card. It is sounds 80% as good as Euphony Server. It sounds 90% as good as Roon to Euphony Endpoint w/JCAT USB card. But there is no doubt that Euphony Server beats all with either server or just endpoint. But it is pretty distracting to the music to have to use Euphony Server instead of Roon. Critical listening isn't something I do that much anymore. Playlists rule the day around here. I prefer vinyl when I want to listen critically. I have a Cisco 2960 switch and a cheap Netgear GS108. I know I need an audiophile switch but that isn't a financial priority right now. I really like no switch if one isn't needed. For the moment I am going to just keep the USB card in the HTPC and dual boot into Euphony if I want to critical listen or Roon/HQP/JCAT USB for daily music in the house.
  12. Robert Devčić Date: 29.07.2023 10:22 Message: this is problem of windows server to forward (bridge) its ethernet interfaces. You need to consult how to do it on Windows, or use Euphony OS as your server for Roon. Seems you can if I can figure out how to get the bridge to work. I have had issues implementing that in the past. I will try again..
  13. Is there anyway to connect a Euphony Endpoint (Intel Atom/JCAT XE USB) to a Windows 10 server via straight ethernet cable to the Euphony Endpoint? Something like people use to do when they would bridge ethernet ports on a single PC and out to a microRendu. I am not talking about bridging Euphony Server to Euphony Endpoint... I am wanting to run my Roon Rock > Windows 10 server > Euphony Endpoint (Intel Atom/JCAT XE USB) without a switch via straight ethernet cable. I don't think I can but I want to be sure before I bring the switch back in.
