  1. Hello Miska, here is the report. After some back and forth with the settings and your Anweisungeg, Restart HQPlayer NAA in the menu of optical Rendu and Apply in the HQPlyer configuration etc. everything is running again. Incredible!!! Thanks 1000 times for this. Now the Christmas holidays can come! I am equipped against the junk on TV and can enjoy instead of beautiful music. So I hope. I am curious whether everything continues to run stable. But for now everything was wonderful. I will also no longer fiddle with it. Thanks again for your help. Attached is a screenshot of the new settings. R
  2. Hi Miska, thanks a lot for keeping an eye on it. I still have a very busy week ahead of me. So it will be a few days before I can put your advice into action. I will report.
  3. So. Here it is! After installing everything looked fine (Pic1). I played a flac file from my libary. It ran (Pic2). Then i wanted to play another song from Quobuz and there was no Music. I checked the CPU system report (Pic3). As you can see the CPU is running wild. I have to shut it down otherwise my sonictransporter is running crazy. I need really help for this. I'm devastated.
  4. Now everything is installed so far. Hopefully i did everything right!! Please correct me if so.
  5. This is the current status without the HQPlayer app. I will show you my screenshots after reinstalling HQPlayer. But this takes a few minutes. THX
  6. Thank you! Look! This is the only thing i found on the OS from the orendu which was showed up named support. Is that was you meant?
  7. Your'e right. So it was. It was. But it also did not work. Maybe i should install HQPlayer from the start. Maybe i did something not correct. But what is strange is that everything after purchasingHQPlayer, login with the liscense key and the installing procedure worked fine. The sound was great. i tried a lot of different settings to figure out what suits me best. and two days later after the update nothing worked from the start. In the meanwhile nothing was changed but the Roon update. And i don't have a clue what's going on. I'm just always trying to make sense of it with my inferior computer knowledge. But first, thank you for your commitment to my cause. Maybe you have an idea what else it could be.
  8. i guess so. Because i deinstalled it after the 1. crash several times and installed it again.
  9. this is my complete digital chain. FritzBox 7530 -> english electric 8 Switch -> sonicTransporteri5 -> sonore optical Module Deluxe -> sonore optical Rendu -> Denafrips Iris DDC -> Denafrips Venus II Dac
  10. Hello everyone, I have 3 days ago the roon update build 1182. And since then I can not run HQPlayer through roon. My sonictransporter i5 (3rd gen) is running formally hot when you see the cpu (pic1) usage. And there was no music running. And on the Roon app in the iPad the music seemed to run when you clicked directly on a song in the title columns. But at the bottom of the timeline of Roon everything stopped at 0 sec. and moved at all. There was also of course no music to hear. Only when I had the HQPlayer APP completely deleted from all devices (Sonitransporter->optictalModule/Rendu; Roon) and everything again only directly over Roon run let the music worked again. My question to the community is: Has anyone had a similar experience and does anyone know the exact cause of this behavior? I just did trial and error. But the reason I do not understand yet. I just have the suspicion that Roon update is the reason. Because before that everything was running fine and sounded great. I'm a little sad and annoyed right now!!! Help!!! P.S. Roon DSP was disabled during the processing of the HQPlayer all the time! Even the day before when everything was still running fine!
  11. Hi Davide256, I bought the Kinki by chance through the FB Kinki group. I had never heard or seen him in real until then. I found him pretty sexy the first time. And so I dared an adventure and bought. It arrived already tweaked with Burson OP amps. And I am very enthusiastic. My old amp (custum build) has no chance against the Kinki. Since EVERYTHING is better! And he has a Remote controll! These are all arguments that impress. But I am still thinking about trying Sparko's OP amps. Would that be an improvement? And thanks again for the article. I will eat the same!
  12. Hello all, I have a question: Does it make sense to add an Iris DDC Denafrips between my oR and my Dac Venus II? My existing system is: Sonictransporter i5 (Gen 3) > english electric switch > oM > oR > Venus II > KINKI Studio EX-M1 > Loudspeaker. oM and oR have linear power supply
  13. Hi vortecjr, after a time waiting and thinking about it i decided to put a 1TB USB 3 SSD via USB3 connection to the Sonictransporter. I copied all my music to SSD just with drag and drop. And the sonic effect made me speechless. The soundstage is so much better and has much more air. Wow. So i must recommend to everybody to use an SSD. And i think it doesn't matter if it's inside or outside. R
  14. Hi vortecjr , today i had the time to follow your advice. It worked!! Yeah! Thank you
