I got around to testing the digital input of my Adcom GCD750 using a trends UD-10 usb to spif converter. I was able to output up to 48,000 out of my PC into my gcd 750. (The UD-10 maxs out at 48,000) Just curious what the limiting factor is on the ADCOM GCD750. I'll have to find a spec sheet somewhere.

Hi, I'm going thru the process of finally converting my CDs to FLAC files. I'll be using Exact audio copy and FLAC. I'm unsure what bit rate to convert the wave files on extraction to? I used 320kbps for a few cds, and a few people mentioned that I should up the bit rate. Any suggestions? Thanks, Joe

I'm thinking of replacing my Trends UD-10 with this King Rex UC192. But I'm not even sure my DAC can handle 24/192? I've put together an ezdac http://www.ezdiyaudio.com/#ezDAC (upsampling to 96k). I've got my files in flac, should I upgrade my usb transport, dac or both?

Yes, I was thinking more of a headless http web based server (running jinora2) I'd would prefer it to play audio locally thru a usb dac as well as allowing it to be streamed. I've got an ipod touch I could use as a remote.
