Thanks Gordon for your insight! ? Do you also imply that 16bit/96khz on the ipad is unable to achieve currently although Sasaki tried it with his proton with led litted at 96khz? Thanks!

Until I get an iPad 2, I can then try to see if my Wavelink and 24/96 DAC works with your player or not. Sasaki, may I know how do you ascertain/differentiate between 24 bits and 16bits? The led behind proton and wavelink doesn't show tho. Thanks!
