  1. I am in the process of setting up a sound system for my (small) living room. I am going to listen to mainly mp3's I have stored on an external hard drive that I will control by remote via my ipod touch. I also need to be able to plug the ipod directly into the system for when the computer is not available. My intention (correct me if I am doing something wrong) is to buy a DAC to plug directly into my computer's digital output (if it has one - I'm at work and can't check right now). If it doesn't, I'm going to buy an apple airport express and use the digital output on this device to plug into the DAC input. First question...any recommendations on a DAC? Any thoughts on the Beresford TC-7520? Anything else in this price range? Being able to plug headphones directly into the DAC would be a plus. Second question...any recommendations on a receiver / amplifier? AM/FM capability is a very minor concern. Third question...any recommendations on a set of speakers? I am looking to keep everything (DAC, amplifier & speakers) under $2k and preferably around $1500 if possible. Thanks so much for the help.
