It has been awhile since I was last on this Forum. Probably goes back to BAU, Before Asynchronous USB. I just wanted to say THANK YOU for helping me correct my audio drop out problems with A+ version 1.5.12 after I upgraded to Yosemite OS. I deselected Direct mode and now I have my beautiful music playing uninterrupted again. You guys are invaluable!

Does anyone have experience with Rowmote Pro for Mac?

You have my full attention, Bob. Have you ever tried putting one ear right next to the tweeter of a non xstat speaker? Of course, like you said, with no music playing (so you don't injure your ears). With all the different systems I've owned through the years, I have always heard a very slight hissing coming out the tweeter when I did this.
