  4. I currently have a Logitech Touch streaming music from my computer. I have the touch hooked-up by toslink to a PS Audio Dac III plugged into a Krell Integrated amp with Martin Logan Vantage speakers. I am looking to "IMPROVE" the Sound Quality and I want to know the best way to go about it. The following is what I came up with so far! Please help, any info is greatly appreciated. I want the upgrade to also be with in reason$$! Thanks, Matt
  5. Hey guys, I am in the process of ripping my cd collection in Flac files. Many people have told me to use Media Monkey, but recently I have been using WinAmp and the sound from my computer is noticeably better. It also reads almost every file type and has a great interface. Is it just me, or have others noticed the same? Also, why would one use Media Monkey over Winamp? Any thoughts???

I was thinking about using J River Media to Rip all 6oo cd's, but what is the difference between the the default "6" quality rip and the "8"? Would I notice a difference? Or, Should I use Exact Audio Copy to Rip all my music? I only want to do it once. Any info if greatly appreciated. Thanks, Matt
  14. Ok, I need help in choosing a Music Server! I am new to this (please don't laugh) and just when I am about to make my purchase something new pop-up on this forum. I was thinking about getting an HP all in one (which would be great to have the touch screen and does not make much noise) with J River media and Rivermotte so I can use my I-Touch. OR, Do I go with the new Mac mini, Itunes, and Front Row? I would really prefer to go the PC route and use Flac. My current system is a Krell integrated amp, Martin logan Vantage speakers, PSIII Dac. AQny info would be greatly appreciated. I am looking for the best sound, Ease of use/compatibility and resonably priced. Thanks,
