Yes I have been meaning to compare USB to SPDIF. I will probably get around to doing this more intently this weekend (have been quite busy lately). On another note, I also received my Welborne Labs custom power supply for my Zodiac+ today. It is very nice build quality, with a sleek looking black anodized aluminum chasis. I worked with them to get the plug to be just like the one that comes stock with the Zodiac+ (screw housing). It ended up working out nicely, they did a great job. I also chose the shorter umbilical option to connect the power supply unit to the Zodiac+, and am currently using just a Wireworld power cord to the Welborne.

Yeah, thats the same one I have. So far I have seen two different versions. My Welborne beefy one should be here today or tomorrow hopefully.

Yeah the review was posted some days back, I personally agree with most of his statements....with the exception being about lack of body/weight. In my rig I feel it has plenty of body and weight for my tastes, and feel it is quite balanced overall (not too much and not too little). It is an excellent match for my studio monitors, and especially my LCD-2's. My Welborne Labs custom Power Supply made for the Zodiac+ will be coming soon as it just shipped today as well. I will post my impressions on changes noticed if any. But to be honest I am more than happy with everything about my current setup the way it is now.

http://www.welbornelabs.com/ I contacted Welbornelabs to see if they can create a custom power supply unit for the Zodiac+, or have any thoughts of doing so in the future. I will let you know what they say about it. My review should be coming soon as well....as I have plenty of hours on my unit (200+), I am absolutely loving it.

I actually talked to someone that said he no longer uses his perfectwave because of the Zodiac+ trumping it.

I placed the order through a brand new dealer, so apparently it takes Antelope a while to get them online in their system. I am hoping that it ships out to me this week....it ships from California (S.F.) close to where I live....so once it does ship it should only take a day to get to me. I will keep the forums posted.

Well, I went ahead and put my order in for a Zodiac+ I will update when it arrives with my initial build quality impressions, etc.

I still have yet to find any true reviews of how it sounds with nice systems.

I ended up getting a couple of the lower end wireworld power cables from this place: http://www.thecableco.com/ It was relatively difficult to find em online, checked audiogon and ebay etc. But I mean I am willing to try a cable that was made with some sort of purpose (science?) in mind instead of the voodoo magic type ginormous cables.

I was looking at getting these: http://www.analysis-plus.com/pro_powercable.html (or their home line oval 14) for my DAC/AMP/Powered speakers/Computer, does anyone have other recommendations....(maybe there are cheaper solutions?) note this is not about sound quality but more about rejecting all noise. Thanks!
