Direct after correction. The CJ preamp is phase inverted and I did not change speaker leads when introducing the MH ULN-8 directly. After doing so I find the presentation to have more transparency and pressurize the room more effectively. There's a little less meat however. I'll experiment further.

Preamp. VAC Phi 200 and CJ Pr 17LS. Much nosier with CJ but sounds good. With ULN-8 direct sounds quieter but flat with no excitement. Is there a setting in the ULN-8 I am not aware of? Input impedance of VAC is 100k ohms SE.
