I have 4,000 purchased CDs in storage in sealed plastic bins. I've backed up everything carefully but just can't bring myself to get rid of them even though I've never touched them since ripping. My hope is that in a year or two (or more) a streaming music service like Spotify will exist that will also satisfy audiophile needs. Sadly, there is little market demand for audiophile sound quality.
