Additional Information: In the MIDI section while Audirvana open and AVM connected, the only output option that comes up is "Built in Output", no other options come up. Ideas?

Hello, I am having issues getting Audirvana 2.0 to play through my system. It only plays through the computer speakers. I have an AVM preamp and have tried both the USB and SPDIF inputs. Any idea of which settings I should re-check? I have followed the Audirvana setup instructions. Baffled in AZ thanks

Question, eliminating pre-amp, I notice that this dac has two sets of outputs. The RCA's I would use into my 300B SET amps but could I also use in conjunction the XLR's directly into my subs? Or are the outputs one or the other? thx

Somebody out there had an advanced paramaters setup for Audirvana Preferences, steepness, filter, cutoff etc and I'll be darned if I can't find those parameters, which on my MacBook Pro sounded really good. I need them again. Anyone can help? thx in advance-steve

Strange...Using Audirvana plus through M2tech, Sometimes for no reason that I can discern the M2tech turns itself off in my MIDI, then turns itself back on and so forth. Tried cleaning my mac, restarting, different USB cable. Anybody else experience this phenomena? Solution? thx-steve

Well, never a dull moment with this high tech stuff. If I use ITUNES standalone, no issues at all, When used in conjuntion with PM, I get a hiss sound when the song starts to play and sounds like a bit of static. Odd, I've tried reinstalling both versions of PM, resetting handshake, restarting entire system, changing USB cord, you name it. any ideas? thx steve

...i removed the new version and reinstalled the old previous version and problem solved. Next time software updates come around for my music system, I'll wait until the bugs get worked out. I'm happy with the older version. Thank you all for chimin' in. steve

got rid of the new version, re-installed the prior version. Challenge solved, no more static/distortion. I'm sticking with the previous version at least until the bugs are worked out. stevo

Thank you all for the replies, and I am glad to find another audiophile stateradiofan experiencing what I am, although I'm sorry it's happening to you. After speaking with Pure Music, I will be (but have not yet) deleting the entire program and reinstalling the older version, which I am sure will work as it did before, then it's rock on. Is it just me? I just upgraded to the latest version of Pure Music and now everything sounds like static, no matter what settings I choose. What a pain, I'll take the old version back. Others? Ideas? THX steve
