1. I tried to get to this playlist (yes I do have a subscription) and experienced similar issues. The normal search text box does not function as we expect (as stated). I did eventually get to the Playlist by searching on just "computer" as for some weird reason that is what it is called. Another weird thing, there are no longer 100 songs, more like 90 or so. Maybe some have been removed.
 2. Thanks for the very prompt reply Chris. I hopefully look forward to seeing something like this in the future.
 3. Hi Chris, I don't know if this has been mentioned before but did you ever consider adding the various different types of cables we all have to use in the CASH list? For example USB, SPDIF Coax, maybe even TOSLINK? Great site and very informative foum, Barry Please, this is not a post for all the nay-sayers to come out of their closets and jump on the "any cable will suffice" kick!
 4. Hi Chris, I am glad you added the Sunday afternoon session. I will be there and look forward to meeting you. I was travelling with two friends but one had a recent medical emergency and cannot make it. He has given me some questions as he is soon to be delving into computer audio. I do not expect you to answer all these on the day but if there is a lull in the questions from the house you can always fall back on these.
Regards, Barry

- How is the music industry planning on preventing mass copying of high resolution FLAC files?
- Is there any type of currently known copy protection that will not negatively affect music playback?
- What are the essential music server physical components to achieve the best high resolution playback of 24-bit files (e.g.; silent operation, solid state RAM, solid state data storage)?
- How important is up-sampling to high resolution music playback and how high must the sampling be to achieve the best sounding music playback?
- Is there any advantage to using both solid state RAM and solid state data storage? Why couldn’t one use only solid state RAM to achieve optimum results since an entire album could be buffered into RAM for playback from much larger and less expensive SATA drives?
- how likely is it that the physical connectivity between music servers to DAC to preamp will continue to significantly improve over the next several years (e.g.; asynchronous USB, Ethernet, Firewire)?
- Will high resolution downloads likely ever be more than just another niche product given the complexities of server hardware, O/S software, data redundancy/backup, and mass market disinterest in high resolution music?
5. Thank you Chris, I will definitely look you up during my stay in Denver.
 6. Hi Chris, I am a newbie to this site but am very interested in using my computer to serve up music to my hi-fi system. Based on info in these posts I even purchased the M2Tech HiFace gadget to pull SPDIF signals from the USB on my laptop. Myself and a couple of buddies are planning on coming to the Denver RMAF 2010 in October and I wondered if you were going to be in attendence or even speaking at a seminar/round-table on computer related issues as you apparently did last year. Thanks for getting this site going and providing many of us with an excellent area to share information on this subject, it's definitely the way things are going so we may as well embrace it. Toshiba/Media Monkey w-Kernal Streaming/m2Tech HiFace/ Benchmark DAC1/etc. Regards,
