  1. I was using this: Oppo BDP-83SE Unfortunatey not available anymore. Sorry for the OT
  2. After modding an Oppo with a mch SPDIF interface, very happy with my PS3 SACD ripper. #7
  3. I'm using JRiver 18 to play the ISO generated ripping my SACD. I'm very satisfied since I don't need to convert in DSF and PCM (I have a Trinnov DRC that need PCM) and it sound good to me. I'm wondering if somebody compared the audio result from JRiver 18 to the one after the conversion to PCM with other converters. I'm tagging the SACD ISO with JRiver 18, are the tags permanently written on the ISO or just on the JR library? Thanks a lot.
  4. Hi all, I'm using J.River to play my ripped CD's and Hires music, with driver ASIO through a RME HDSP AES32 to a mch DRC and finally to the mch DAC. I also use the RME to input data in Hires mch from my OPPO. The RME can re-route channels only if of the same frequency (other ways need several settings), so it will be preferable to just use one frequency. J.River has a SRC, but is it good? Is it possible to use a better one (like iZotope)? Is there any suggestion? Thank You. Louis
  5. Thank you Daniel for your reply. It will be very difficult to renounce to the DAC1! What about the DAC202, is it suitable for multichannel? Thank You. Louis
  6. Hi all, I'm very happy whit my Weiss DAC1 and now I want to add two subwoofers and also move to multichannel 5+1. Can I add other dac's to the Weiss DAC1 for the channels I need? Maybe other DAC1 or different products (I have also a Rosetta 800)? I'm worried for the different delays between dac's and also the DAC1 das not have a word clock. My digital cross-over can handle some delays between channels, but I don't know if it will be enough. Does anybody have suggestions? Thank you. Louis
