First off - apologies if these questions have already been answered a million times. Looking to pick some smart brains so I do the right thing.
Here's where I'm at: iTunes Plus music files, iTunes, Macbook (no firewire), Monster 1000 cable out of the headphones jack, Cambridge Audio 650A amp (brand new - love it , Monster Z series speaker cable, pair of DB Dynamics Eclipse towers (which I'm pretty happy with).
What should come first to achieve the biggest improvement bang for buck wise? Total budget - $600/$800. I'm thinking Cambridge Audio DACMagic and maybe a cable upgrade? Any advice would be greatly appreciated
