  1. Nice article! I think the best music is the little played gem you find at a yard sale for a dollar...and find out that's it's worth $100 in the price guide. But if it's something you really love, you will never sell it.
  2. As someone who converts analog to digital audio as his business, I can vouch for the Spin It Again product by Acoustica. It's robust, yet intuitive in how it works and is quick to learn. I can't spend a lot of time trying to figure out new software, as "time is money", so I appreciate its elegant simplicity. I record at 16/44.1K for the proletariat, but can go all the way up to 24/192K for audiophiles. Keep in mind whatever software you use, that the process is by definition long and tedious...and that any bump, noise, or skip can ruin a track. If you have more time than money, go for it...if the reverse is true, I can help you out. I quit changing my own oil a long time ago...oh, yeah, I've never changed the oil myself! I need more practice converting to the higher bit/sample rates, so if anyone has an album they want converted, let me know and I will do it at no charge...my website is: www.vinrev.com. If you are local to the San Francisco Bay Area, I can pick up and deliver for free--if not, just mail me what you want to convert to digital. Mike
