Hello, I have a transporter as DAC connected to my mac with slimserver. I want to add good monoblock 500wpc amps. In theory I should leave the volume on the TP to maximum to get maximum resolution. The question is how do you guys control the bass or even the volume on a system with an amp that does not offer this feature??? Is there any software, plugin that would help me do that or any hardware? Thanks!

Hello Guys, I just thought I would get a better sound if I use the following configuration: Macbook usb --) Hiface with Bnc --) Bnc to Bnc cable --) Bnc Input on the Transporter. And I will lose track information on the TP as Eloise confirmed. Plus I wasn't sure the sound would be better versus an Ethernet cable. I will use an Ipod touch remote so I want the music to be controlled by the macbook and itunes. Here is my question for you guys: Is it better to connect the macbook directly with an ethernet to the TP? OR Connect the macbook and the TP through a bridge or router? I'm just concerned with signal quality from the source to the TP, so what is the best way to achieve good signal quality if you think it will affect sound? Thanks Badou

Hello, Sorry for my english my first language is french, My plan is to use a Hiface and connect my macbook to the logitech Transporter directly. I didn't do it yet since I am waiting for the right cables to be shipped. However, my concern is that I would lose all the information on the transporter screen, Did anyone try to connect a computer directly to the transporter (not through the ethernet port) and does the info appear on the screen?? thanks
