  1. Eloise I am currently using the AES/EBU digital out of the L22 into a Bremen DAC, Bremen is a Swedish company that manufactured in limited quantity, about 8 years ago. To give you a reference point, it’s a $6500 DAC and VERY analog sounding. My DAC can only go up to a 48k rate but the sound quality is very good. I have also used the Lynx with its’ analog outputs. Again, the SQ is very good maybe not quite as good as the Bremen but I could easily live with it and be VERY happy. I am using cMP and cPlay (PC based) for playback which is fantastically good! cPlay lets you upsample to 192K and output this to the Lynx analog outs. At 192, the analog out may sound as good as my Bremen, I will have to do a bit more listening to confirm, The morel of my long winded response is that unless you have a multi- thousand DAC, the analog out of the L22 is most likely going to sound better. I was very surprised to find out that a sound card could better an out board DAC but many others can confirm what I have heard. GD
  2. I use WIN XP SP3 works flawlessly. Make sure to download the latest Lynx drivers!!
  3. I currently have a Lynx-L22 based music server and I am going to build an additional server. The RME 9632 has been recommended to me and I wanted to see if anyone has directly compared the SQ of any of the Lynx to the RME.
