  1. Thanks I was wondering if there is like Version 1.1, 1.2 etc
  2. hi guys, i am planning to get a Brooklyn, just want to know if there are different iterations I should be aware of when purchasing. Thanks.
  3. Looking forward to read more about its HDMI implementation, eg, connecting to HDMI players that output DSD.
  4. Sure hope this is the case but I once emailed Mr Wang and he cited some technical issue and asked me to simply use AirPlay. An integrated app would sure be much better.
  5. Hi Chris, do you believe in, or hear fan-induced jitter, or other nasty stuff, vibration, etc that degrade sonic? Some audiophiles are steadfast in using fan-less NAS or CAS, etc. Nice NAS by the way.
  6. Does that mean the original 105 will not be able to play DSD 128 files through network? I have been streaming DSD 64 from my Netgear ReadyNAS all along, it would be sad if the now old 105 is stucked there.
  7. May be this is old news, but you actually don't need VPN, etc, for Qobuz, all you have to do is to email them and they will very likely let you join and stream. I know because that's what I did. Cheers.
  8. For what its worth, Squeezebox Touch now supports 24/192 files through this unofficial app: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?94512-Announce-Enhanced-Digital-Output-app-USB-Dac-and-192k-Digital-Ouput
  9. I couldn't help but noticed the length of this thread, and wonder if it would be shorter if HDTracks had actually done something about it.
  10. Hi Chris,<br /> <br /> Is there a list of BD with mShuttle technology built in? My recent 2L music BDs don't. Thanks.
  11. Great to hear, thanks. By the way where did you get your TRS to balanced cables? I know Blue Jeans makes them but would be good to know more options.
  12. Same quesiton as Wap here, whether it can drive a poweramp direct. I guess we can't assume. I once emailed the designer of the EE Minimax DAC and he honestly told me no, not my amp anyway.
  13. Before I find a better alternative, I am using Lame.exe to convert all 24/96 files to 320kbps CBR MP3 and importing them into iTunes then my iPhone. I know it sounds far from sexy or audiophile like, but at least I got to listen to the tunes on the road, and all the tags are intact.
  14. I forgot to mention I use Windoz 7 so Max won't cut it for me. I just wish to listen to the music I purchased on HDTracks and other hirez places on my iPhone on the way to work or something, without having to rely solely on my system everytime. If there is a way iTunes could do this natively, please advise. I tried MediaMonkey, it is a bit better than JRMedia in that regard but still has no option to direct convert to playable Applelossless.
  15. Hi, Can anyone advise any free file convertor that could convert 24/96 or 192 flac files to Apple Lossless that could be played on iPod/iPhone? I already have a full version of JR Media 15 but it doesn't seem to have that conversion option. Thank you. Ray
