  1. I asked Resonessence via email and they sent me the link. Have a play. I like it.
  2. This is a good one IMHO http://www.resonessencelabs.com/downloads/6_0_4_Upgrade.zip
  3. No worries, Marcel ATCs are cool hey, especially direct from a DAC/Pre! I had SCM50s before the 25s. Looking at either 2x C4 or maybe the new SCM200 ASLTs next time around. I'm in the process of designing our next home (an architect) and will hopefully have a fully integrated (soffited) ATC SCM 5.2 system.
  4. Hi Marcel, That's not what the tech guys told me, they were however very helpful in the fact that they called me from Belgium?? to have a chat about what was wrong. It transpired and was verbally mentioned to me some 18+ months ago, that they were aware there was a design issue when using the Voltikus on 240V UK mains supply and recommended I used a 240>120 voltage dropper until they'd resolved the issue. OR, use the supplied SMPS until further notice... IMHO, this wasn't expectable.
  5. Umm, I had no luck with Antelope either, I had a Gold/Voltikus for about 10-12 weeks. In those weeks, I had the DAC changed once and the Voltikus 3 times!! IMHO its poorly designed PSU, I came spec'd for 220v and was an official UK supplied unit from a premier dealer. The UK tech guy was absolutely pointless. Didn't have any interest in sorting it and at one point simply told me to 'get in line'!!! I also think the product build quality was low in general. The Voltikus had a known fault to Antelope and they were/having to redesign the PSU, maybe this is the MkII... but surely this should be more of a 're-call' situation rather than 'buy another at your expense'... way to go Antelope.... In the end, the retailer took the unit back as I was so disappointed by its QC issues and the lack of support. I generally buy big ticket items from them, they wisely felt it worthwhile in the bigger picture of things, which I appreciate greatly.
  6. OK had a play, there is indeed a split second pause so its not seamless as it should be. SD card isn't my format of choice, I use USB 100% of the time. I'll send an email too, hopefully we'll get another update soon
  7. No issues via USB, will put an album on the SD card and let you know in a few hours.
  8. Hi Sonic, imho I also thought 5.2.2 was an improvement in SQ. I didn't change anything in my system at all. Plus, I'm not a cable believer anywayz.... Not expensive audiophile type anyway, I use Sommer carbokab 225 XLR studio cables, made my own power leads, and use a Lindy 0.2m USB cable I bought off eBay for £2. Had the system setup this way for quite a while now. Love it :-)
  9. I have the slightly older XS36V and is ran headlessly. Its got 4gb ram and 512gb SSD. OS is W7 and player is JRMC19. Tiz perfect for the job.
  10. So any new MIRUS owners out there ATM? and have you installed the new 5.2.1 firmware?
  11. Got mine a few weeks ago too, here's my li'll review: http://www.computeraudiophile.com/f6-dac-digital-analog-conversion/invicta-mirus-reviews-and-thoughts-16400/
  12. Also, try installing the latest USB driver. I had too do this when upgraded to the MIRUS.
