  1. Many thanks and thank you for at least leaving it up for a week so that everyone could experience the pittiful move sseen by a business proprieter. You won't review, recommend or compare his computers for a reason... The technology is changing so quickly (ie...MQA) that many people feel threatened and have become flat out desperate feeling the need to diminish, degrade and demoralize the small guy when he reports on some authentic observations. Thanks Chris for doing the correct thing and thanks for your candidness. You were a pioneer in setting back the entire computer audio industry back a decade ago trying to make USB work with audio and I believe in it as many others do after hours of comparison. Heck, even Goodwins High End was pushing USB via a SoTM PCI sound card just four years ago from End PC Noise's audiophile music server web site. I have proved that USB is a viable interface and that everyone should consider with the coreect setup as much as one could should consider a SPDIF setup. I love my Aurender N10 and have simce relegated my Betis Reference to my home offfice dedicating it to work telecommuting, spreadsheet applications, word processing, printing and the children love it for gaming even though it is a bit slow for gaming. Gob Bless to all and thanks for your endless support!
  2. I don't understand the comment either and if it was geared towards me however, as such, have revised my comments regarding Mr. Quint's review. Baetis Reference Media Server | The Absolute Sound
  3. There is a great deal of info on this site about the credibility of Baetis Audio products and if they are the real thing like the Aurender N10 or just plain snake oil. Here is my experience with Baetis Audio: Baetis Reference Media Server | The Absolute Sound
  4. who is the jriver expert here who could help me please? Al six.one.seven.nine.five.three.four.eight.o. one
  5. No, same message that says "timed out". This is frustrating and don't know why jremote is not connecting with mc.
  6. Hi, I received an access code from JR and keyed it in on the JRemote app but I get a message of timed out to the left of a red triangle. It seems to recognize my IP and port but underneath the recognition of my ip address I get the timed out and don't get it. My router is hard wired but I see my network in the wifi section of my ipad. Can anyone help?
  7. I just tried a new CD that is brand new out of the wrap and I still get the same results in rip status and black CRC fonts. Here is a copy of the of the notepad. See track 1, evidently it isn't secure. Just don't know why especially with a brand new CD. It happens with and without C2 selected, with and without ultra secure setting. Can anyone help please? 8. On the page you recommended it says in red insecure but mine says secure in green. I don't understand it at all. Well, perhaps another user can help; otherwise, I'm stumped. Stumpedfully yours. Ron
  9. I re-ripped it and the first entry under CRC is in green but everything else is in black with still not the same info in the ripped status section per your recommended settings. I don't understand it... Thank you.
  10. Hi Chris, All my album art in Apple Lossless was put in manually by me. Strange but when I imported Apple Lossless to Media Monkey all album art came with it but no ablum art came when imported in to J River Media Center. Also, I saw from your dbpoweramp settings post and pic that under rip status from a ripped track you see the accurate company emblem then it say accurate with a number in parenthesis. Then the CRC confirmation codes are in green. When I rip a track I don't get any of that. Under rip status I get red "AR" in caps then air (2). My CRC codes are in black not green. I snapped a photo and attached it. Does this look correct? I don't know why I don't get the same exact as in your settings post.... Thanks!
  11. I import my library into J River (apple lossless files) and no cover art appears. I tried right click find files but iTunes cover art files are impossible to identify or find. Any suggestions as to how to get cover art from apple lossless files?
