    You probably just need to open the file '~/.pulse/client.conf' in a text editor and remove the line 'autospawn = no' from the file (or change it to 'autospawn = yes'). Assuming gedit still comes with Ubuntu running the command; gedit ~/.pulse/client.conf Should open the file in a text editor. Oh... and reboot of course .
