  1. Chris, Thanks! I converted the file and sure enough it worked. Two other questions: 1 Do I loose anything sonically going to aiff? 2- I have two albums now in wav (The doors & Tigerlilly) that I was able to import album art in Itunes by telling Itunes to get artwork. A 3rd, Pat Benetar did not accept art. Is there something different about those albums? The files came from DVDa-Explorer a ripped DVD-A.
  2. running on a MAC Selecting all the songs in an album, right clicking to select "get info" allows entry of tags and album art. Double clicking in the Artwork box brings up a dialog to select the image. I choose the image (250x250 72dpi jpg) it shows up in the artwork box with the selection checked, I click OK and it does not work--no image in itunes. Am I missing something?
  3. I found a low-tech but easy solution. Select all the tracks in the album, right click and choose get info. Add the artist and album name and it shows up for all songs. Selecting just one song allows you to customize the tags for that song. Thanks to all for your help and time!!!!!!!
  4. I send you an email through the sight with my email because I couldn't find the PM
  5. Sounded like the simplest method was the 2nd since my files are already WAV. I downloaded ITunify and looked at the online instructions, but can't get the tags to work. Would it be possible for you to walk me through it over the phone? I can PM me my number or vice versa.
  6. Oops, wrong link http://www.computeraudiophile.com/content/How-Rip-High-Resolution-Blu-ray-Audio Thanks for your thread too! I'm a noob at this and it is all helpful!
  7. There is an interesting how-to at http://www.audiocircle.com/index.php?topic=69151.0 on ripping hirez audio from Blu-Ray disks. Seems rather straight forwarAnyone done it? I ask because I want to buy the Neil Young Blu-Ray 10-disk set but I don't have a Blu-ray drive and don't want to spend the money on it just for this. Anyone want to rip it for me and I will give them the DVDs for their efforts?
  8. I have successfully ripped WAVs from DVD-A discs using DVD-A Explorer. Song name imports, but I can not figure out how to get the artist name, album and cover art into iTunes as well as get Itunes to separate the songs to the proper album What I have tried; 1. Added the WAVs into the Library then renamed the folders with the artist name and album - no luck 2- Converted said WAVs To IAFF than had iTunes get album art - no luck 3- copied the IAFF files to the hard drive and put them in a album name folder in an artist name folder then added to library - no luck Any one tell me what I am missing? THANKS in advance!

    DVDA question

Is it possible to make an exact disk copy of a DVD-A? Can they be ripped like standard DVDs? Can I use "mac the ripper" or DVD-A Explorer, or some other software? I have both PC and mac Thanks!
  11. Noob here! I just bought 4 DVD-A discs. 2 were fine, two are surround disks with which I have a question. There are 14 files for 14 songs, but when converted to wav, I get 2 files each; 1 for center and 1 for the other 4 channels. I want to combine them for a 2 channel environment. There seems to be two option; "Merge Groups" and Stereo Downmix" Which is better?
