  5. I had great assistance from the theoretical team . They can at your request log in remotely and help you setup. I was so impressed I traded up last week to the BACCH SP , a huge investment for me but well worth it I think.
  6. I tried Mac mini with amarra and lots of other software . It was a constant roller coaster of updrades and teaks . Fun yes and some fantastic results but it needs maintenance and work . Actually BACCH SP Has delivered the most ground breaking results which I can use along with my Aurender.
  7. Hi I'm an Aurender N10 user and enjoying it enormously. However I just signed up for the free roon trial and I'm using airplay to play audio to the N10 and it sounds wonderful, I have turned off all dsp engine functions (I think). Does anyone else have experience of this, thequietman
  8. I had to select force volume on the mac app for tidal to get sufficient volume, otherwise the volume was too low. Also selected my dac as output device in audio midi settings.
  9. Hi Michael, I'm a fellow CA member.

Any feedback on the synergistic fuses with the N10? I'm thinking of buying them myself.

    Thanks

  11. The important difference between the n100h and the n100 is the internal memory and method for indexing the music. The website information isn't really clear. See below.... "Insert a USB memory device already loaded with songs into USB port on the rear panel. In a moment, the front display will show 'USB Copying'. When all files have been copied, the display will blink 'USB Copying Done'. However... "With Aurender System Software 4(5).3.78 or later the USB Copying function was disabled. Currently, users can only play files directly from an attached USB storage device (one device only). In development is an update that will allow for USB Copying to the Aurender's internal storage drive from the Aurender Conductor App. This update will be included in the next update of the Aurender System Software and Aurender Conductor App." Aurender support is very prompt but clarity would be appreciated. For example I attached my usb hd to my Mac, ran amm, indexed the songs. Attached the usb hd to the Aurender n100h.The Songs played. I wanted to transfer the music from the usb hd to the internal hd, I used the copy command in the conductor app. All seemed to be finished but upon removing the usb hd not all songs would play/be found. I probably messed up by essentially indexing the drive twice I suspect, with references to tacks on the internal memory and external. I think I now have an idea of best practice which is to transfer the albums to internal memory immediately. Scan internal memory then Run amm on the laptop,I'm open to correction though. I don't think one needs to attach an external hd to the mac / computer to be indexed by amm anymore. I think this can be done right on the Aurender with the files and folders managed over network by the Mac/Computer. I'm enjoying the Aurender and I think the product will continue to improve I just find the implementation frustrating. theaudioguru
