  1. Sorry, meant to post this in Aurender topic. Please move there if possible.
  2. The Favorites Artist tab on my N10 lists artists in what looks like a random order instead of alphabetically, as in the past. All files are from Qobuz streaming. Restarting, deleting and downloading Conductor, resetting the app—nothing corrects the problem. I have seen similar problems listed about Tidal, but not about Qobuz. Is it a new Conductor glitch?
  3. Odd. This morning, when I started Conductor on my iPad, I was prompted to enter a passcode that appeared on the N10 screen. This has never happened before. Any significance?
  4. I must remember not to ask questions the answer to which I do not know. Mea culpa and hallelujah to to mega corporations!
  5. Umm...What's the relationship between Qobuz and Amazon Web Services?
  6. Hi DavT Yesterday, the same problem you detailed about Tidal streaming began on my Aurender N10. Today Qobuz no longer streams hirez on the Aurender, only mpeg, and just 30 seconds at the beginning of a track. All the favorites and purchases I have entered in the past remain, but only play in those 30 second bits. In that I can stream Tidal and Qobuz on my iPad and iMac in full resolution, the problem must reside with Aurender. fm
  7. Aurender Software Update The Conductor App allows a software update (4.14.43) that does not appear on the Aurender site. In that I no longer must fool the app into believing I live in Paris, and the radio listings in Conductor are now mostly U.S., I suspect this is a step toward launching U.S. access to Qobuz.
  8. Also wondering what's inside the Mytek AMP. A Polish site http://highfidelity.pl/@main-789&lang=en reviews a small Acuhorn class D amplifier of which the designer makes claims about its sound that are very similar to Mytek's promotional copy. Hmm... With only one person on CA reporting receipt of a Brooklyn AMP, information remains sparse. Too sparse for those of us awaiting receipt of the AMP.
  9. Odd that there's no user's manual. Also none posted on the Mytek website.
  10. Pleased to see that at least one person has received the Brooklyn AMP. The Brooklyn DAC+ has a Trigger I/O connector that does not appear on the original Brooklyn DAC, and the Brooklyn AMP has a plug on the back marked "POWER UP TRIGGER 12V". Are these some kind of interconnection feature twixt DAC and AMP? (I ask out of ignorance.) Did you receive a User's Manual with the Brooklyn AMP where the feature might be explained?
  11. blues_pedaler wrote: I, too, am getting ready to purchase the DAC+. I see that the matching Brooklyn Amp is now shipping. If anyone has this amp or heard it at one of the shows, your impressions would be appreciated. No doubt Mytek has voiced this amp to be a synergistic companion to the DAC+ but having owned an old school Bel Canto class D (EVO 4), I find the class D characteristics somewhat lacking in emotional engagement for some reason. Mytek claims their design is Class A-ish. I was hoping to get an independent verification of that before I take the plunge and take advantage of their current bundle pricing. I use JansZen electrostatics/dynamic hybrid speakers; they are very revealing, fast and transparent. So amplification matching is important. If there is a better place to pose this question on CA, please point me in the right direction. I'm a newbie and want to thank all of you for sharing your expertise and your patience. I too tired of Bel Canto class D sound and abandoned it long ago. Alas, as of today, the Mytek Brooklyn AMP only exists in the promotional announcements from Mytek and a non-functioning sample displayed at the recent RMAF. No one, anywhere, reports having heard the amp. Based on the excellence of the Mytek DAC, I did order the DAC/AMP bundle for a second system. Hoping the AMP will manifest itself soon.
  12. On the subject of Brooklyn AMP shipments, I notice that Mytek has removed the "now shipping" tag from its order placement process.
  13. Yes, looks like the communication channels are active again. I've also had good answers to my questions.
  14. Too bad I live a few thousand miles from Brooklyn, with no subway stop. The Computer Audiophile forwarded a Mytek press release during last weekend's RMAF that stated the Brooklyn AMP "is now shipping in quantity." We'll see.
  15. I've seen no mention anywhere that Mytek has shipped the Brooklyn AMP to anyone. Have they been collecting customer's pre-paid orders since mid-year? I've encountered similar indifference to my inquiries about the amp I have ordered.
