i'm not near my hifi at the moment but from memory i can see it load but even when fully loaded will not play or if it does play there is no sound is there a choice of CoreAudio or libsampleRate when upsampling? best mark

no, both the hiface and dac are 192kHz able....I can play 192 hi res files.....curious

for some reason i cannot get audirvana to play when in upsample mode......i can do this on my 5year old macbook pro with 1.5gig Ram but not on my newish mac mini with 4gb? the only difference is the mac mini has hiface, is there a known conflict here?

i seem to have everything running the way i want in playlist and cache mode but itunes still attached because i just like the convenience....the only thing i don't have, nor seem to be able to find info. about is the 'processing settings' in the preferences.......i'm not interested in accessing the eq facilities ie i have eq switched off but what, if any of the check boxes, should i tick for best audio? many thanks in advance

similar problem to the last poster except that for me it is fixed on 44.1.....it will not budge whatever is played through.....this aspect used to work beautifully but not now......i have very same set up as previous poster though hiface evo

i have iTeleport and it does some things well but it doesn't do what remote can do in terms of instant and intuitive interaction with itunes......

that's a very attractive looking piece of kit....technically and aesthetically......i believe the 'junior' dac will come in around £800.....any guesses for the reference version

is the new dac to include elements of the hiface evo? ..........and, how much do you expect the new hiface to come in at?

i have the latest mac mini and am going to take usb out to dac through hiface........now which of the 5 ports should i use? are they all the same? i feel sure i've read somewhere on this forum that they aren't but cannot find the thread
