Hi all,
I am looking to affordably network my audio CD collection without ripping and storing.
I'd like to find a music system that allows the analog input from my CD storage/player that will then allow streaming over my wired network.
Wireless is OK for most locations in the house, but I need to use my wired network connection to my unattached workshop that has metal siding.
I prefer hardware based systems that do not rely on having a computer and soundcard running software.
Is there anything out there that would do this? Most systems I have seen that could do this are $1000+. That's out of my price range for now. I'm looking for a complete solution for less than $500.
Thanks!
