  1. I exclusively use Roon on euphony. Stylus does not work for me - some compatibility issue with my endpoint. Hence I need LAN as my Roon endpoint (EMM NS1) can only be connected through LAN.
  2. My motherboard eth's are disabled in the bios. I use the Solarflare x2522 pcie card with both ports bridged - one connects to the switch and the other to my roon endpoint.
  3. Yes, there are corresponding 26 Irq's for eth0 and eth1. My confusion is - which ones do I isolate? Or should I put all the eth0 in 1 or 2 cores and similar with eth1?
  4. Hi, I don't get eth0 and eth1. Here's a screenshot of what I get. Same is repeated for eth1.
  5. Thanks. I have been trying to setup AL but haven't gotten close to euphony sound or stability yet. I use Euphony exclusively as roon core/server and was trying to replicate the same on AL.
  6. How do you like the SQ on Audiolinux as compared to Euphony? What settings did you do?
  7. Is it possible to isolate the eth interfaces to their own cores? I use 2 ethernet ports bridged.
  8. Selling my Bertram Proxima Flow Speaker Cables. These have been my reference cables for the past few years – they replaced the Siltech 770L cables and have bettered many I’ve compared them with. I have upgraded to cables made by my speaker manufacturer specifically for use on their speakers. The Proxima Flow is a Silver/Copper cable which gives the speed/attack of silver while retaining the warmth of Copper. The Bertrams are known for being resolution kings and will transmit the finest amount of information to the speaker. It will be a super upgrade to any high fi audio setup. It is rare to find these on the used market. They are in excellent condition - well cared for and with very little signs of use (few normal marks on the spade connectors). Cables are approx. 8.5 feet / 2.5m in length (spade to spade) - I have uploaded a photo showing the exact length. Each side consists of 2 distinct cables – 1 for positive and 1 for negative. I have been in the hobby for 30+ years and can provide references. My setup is listed on this site. Please contact me if you need more photos, etc. Serious buyers only, please. Cables will be packed well and I will ship to any location worldwide serviceable by FedEx - I have a FedEx account and get a discount. Shipping is extra at actual. Price: $2950 or best offer! Payment through Bank Transfer or Paypal (Add 5%).
  9. While updating the kernel or removing any software, I get the message: There may be another Pacman instance running. Waiting...
  10. Just curious.. what hardware is everyone using for running Euphony? I've just built a server with the Z11PA-U12 MB and Intel Xeon Gold 6138 CPU. Powered through a SMPS and a HDPlex DC-ATX Was using an old dual core based machine earlier. Huge improvement across the board.
  11. Been using V4 since it was launched. Sounds better than V3 to me and has been very stable. I use it exclusively as a Roon core and don't use their stylus player. Tried Win10 and 11 briefly, but they were nowhere close to the euphony sq and ease of use.
  12. I had checked the Haswell requirement and not the instruction set extensions (had honestly no idea about it). Thanks for clarifying.
  13. Hi, This is listed as a Haswell CPU: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Haswell_(microarchitecture)
  14. Hi, The cpu is Intel Pentium CPU G3220 @ 3.00GHz https://ark.intel.com/content/www/us/en/ark/products/77773/intel-pentium-processor-g3220-3m-cache-3-00-ghz.html Is this not supported?
