I can see Windows 8 giving Windows users an excellent all round system. The introduction of proper tablets to the Windows range running the simple and fast Metro interface will open up computer audio (and video) to a whole lot more people. With a very strong mobile OS offering now too I am very excited about building my whole media system around this...

Hi all, There may be an existing thread about this (had a quick search and couldn't see anything) but I just wondered if anyone else has tried out the Windows 8 consumer preview? Are there any known changes to how Windows will deal with audio? And does anyone know anything more about the Metro 'Music' app - will it have remote ability (by tablet for example), 'play to' dlna functionality? Thanks!

Hi All, I own a pair of Mackie HR624 mkII monitors. They feature a low frequency filter which can be used to roll them off from 80hz when used with a sub. Is this the best way to use monitors that feature this kind of filter, or should they be left "full range" even when used with a sub?? Thanks
