I finally made up my mind and ordered a Lavry DA11. Thanks for all of your help guys esp to Scot and Sanjay from Ciamara. I guess I will be saying goodbye to my Pre/Pro.

Scot, I guess another product that Cullen Circuits is behind is WYred 4 and as mentioned they have a new product coming up. Now Scot you got me thinking. I called my local dealer and they have Bryston BDA 1 in stock and almost the same price as the Lavry DA11. Can you help me choose which one should I go for. I cant do a comparison since non of my local dealer has it except for the BDA 1. Thanks a lot.

Thanks for the help guys. Im just going to step up my budget for $1500 for a DAC and wait for a used Bryston. Unless there is another dac for that price better than Bryston.

Is there another DAC that is better than the magic dac and HRT for that price.

Either one spdif or USB. I'm using an iMac.

As I was reading the article the Death of CD, I right away told my wife how lovely she looks with her new hair and she laughed. Anyways the very next morning I made some few calls of my local dealers where I bought my Maggies and Vandersteen subs and they have diff views about the right DAC under 500. I cant make up my mind between HRT Music Streamer plus or Cambridge Audio Magic Dac. Can someone point me on the right direction. This forum rocks!
