  1. Thanks guys For all the helpfull information, its been great. Im still pondering the whole thing, for me its alot of money spending almost a 1000 bucks on audio gear, and still i want to do it. How much of diffrence would it be going with the Headrooms total bithead instead of the seperate micro units? Since im gonna use it with my macbook PRO maybe im underestimating how nice portability is. Im also looking at the Portable micro headroom room amp with the added Dac function. im à bit scared though that maybe the battery will start loosing it's potential fast after a couple of recharges and can a battery really give the same kind of drive as the micro stacks seperate units? Sorry for my poor knowledge in the area, I'm just scared of buying a pair of nice high end headphones and not using their great potential but at the same time putting money down on something that I as a novice might not even see the difference in. I guess we are all beginners sometimes. Thanks guys/ Marcus
  2. Hey guys. I'm like many others new to the field of high quality audio but have recently gained an intrest for this. I'm was thinking of buying a pair of AKGs 701 togheter with a stack of headrooms micro dac and amp to be played from my Macbook Pro with lossless audio files. First of all, do you think I am getting great value for my money with this setup. Secod of all I am interested in using the same DAC togheter with a normal amp to get good sound through my future hifi stereo speakers in the living room?Does an amp such as this http://www.hifiklubben.se/produkter/stereo/forstarkare/nad_c355bee_foerstaerkare_grafit.htm already have an equal Dac built in or does it require an external DAC such as headrooms micro dac? does the DAC create the same quality in d/a conversion no matter what you will connect it too be it headphone amp or the amp above? can I look at the dac as an outboard soundcard in a way? Thanks in advance, Marcus
