Hi - I think this might be a dumb question, but I am stumped and need some help. I have my UltraRendu linked up to my iMacPro, and I know if is operating effectively because I can play Tidal through it, but I can't get Spotify to recognize it. When I pull up Spotify, it shows the UltraRendu as a possible output, but when I click on that as an output it shows "Connecting" but also shows "Spotify is not active on this device". I have gone into the UlrtaRendu App/web page and it says "SpotifyConnect - Active", so I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Any help would be much appreciated. Will

Thanks for the help everyone. It turns out that the fancy new cable I bought to connect the UltraRendu to my DAC is somehow faulty. I got an Amazon Basics cable delivered this morning and everything works fine. The upside is I got introduced to Roon, and I'm really enjoying it, as I am the quality audio that I'm getting through the UltraRendu!

Thanks. DAC doesn't show up at all in Apps / DAC Diagnostics. Any idea why not?

Hmmmm ..... I really am bad at this stuff. So, in desperation I installed Audirvana, then got all excited when I could see and select the UltraRendu ......... but then when I pressed "play" on a Tidal playlist from within Audirvana ....... nothing happens. The track doesn't start playing at all ...... just stuck at 00:00 and nothing happens. Think I'm going to go back to Roon seeing as so many people seem to talk about that. Anybody up to helping me figure that out?

Okay, so I installed Roon and I can't figure out how to get this to play. The UltraRendu doesn't seem to show up anywhere in Roon. Other devices in my network are showing up, but not the UltraRendu. Is there some manual I should be reading? It seems a lot more difficult than it should be - but maybe it's just me.

Okay - got that problem solved - thanks for the help. But now I have another problem I need help with. I am trying to play from Tidal on my iMac and I can't figure out how to do that. I tried Spotify too, and I could see the UltraRendu on SpotifyConnect but when I tried to select it It told me "Spotify is not active on this device". Any ideas?

Hmmm .... I only have one LED - it is labeled "LED" - and it isn't shining at all. Maybe that means no power?

Hi, I'm new to this so am probably making a very basic mistake but I have mu ultrarendu linked via ethernet to a switch which my computer is also linked to, and the switch is linked directly to the ethernet in my home. I know there is internet connection becasue my computer is working fine, but when I go to the http://sonicorbiter.com/ site as instructed to see if I can identify my ultrarendu on my network, nothing comes up. It could be that I don't have power, as I am trying to power it from a Vinnie Rossi LIO - can I tell from the ultrarendu somehow? Should the LED light on the back of the ultrarendu be glowing if it is getting power? Any help would be appreciated, or should I be calling the manufacturer for help? Thanks Will
