hi guys
looking for some help re audio quality
i'm currently trying out some sound therapy cd's (tinnitus retraining). the sound therapy company state that i should only listen to the music via the distributed cd's, and not via an 'mp3 player'.
i understand their reasoning, and assume that they're safe guarding against the general populous throwing the cd's into a computer and ripping them at a low quality and listening to the degraded audio.
however - a discman is a pain to carry around and chews batteries like no tomorrow.
i ask you guys this:
if i take the aiff's straight from the cd to my ipod - am i listening to the same quality of audio as i would be via playing it via the discman?
i have a gen 5 classic ipod - i've trail blazed across many forums re dac's and aiff quality and would love a couple of answers directed at my situation
