  1. At that point you are already on sonicorbiter.com so you can probably figure out how to get to sonicoribter.com!! But I'll check and see why that goes to a 404 -Andrew
  2. We never sold the license directly only with new hardware and it was only slightly lower then Signalyst not 30%.
  3. What did you click on to get that message. All the links on that page are working. Upgrades are handled through Signalyst.
  4. You can buy a license from me but you would need to email me the key from your unit and I would need to email it to @Miska and then email the key back. It would be much faster to just order the key directly from @Miska I have some nice instructions on how to install HQplayer on a sonicTransporter and also how to get the key you need. http://sonicorbiter.com/docs/hqplayer_setup
  5. If anybody ever has questions for me go to smallgreencomputer.com and click on "contact us" Thanks!
  6. @warrior_on_mars if this is something you purchased from Small Green Computer you can always click "Contact Us" on smallgreencomputer.com and we will get back to you right away.
  7. People very often use mConnect and DLNA to play TIAL or Qobuz directly to the a Rendu streamer. There is some good documentation on how to sent that up on the sonicorbiter.com FAQ here http://www.sonicorbiter.com/docs/tidal_qobuz_rendu
  8. what a great product. I was playing with it today and it works really well. I'll see what we can do about getting it added to Sonicorbiter. @llamaluv is it possible to get the new Qobuz stuff working on HQPWV? I can see it displays if it's started on the HQPlayer client but there is no way to start a Qobuz track from HQPWV.
  9. HLC looks like a GUI application that requires a desktop OS such as Windows. Does it run embedded with no screen? That would be required to run on an "headless" device like a sonicTransporter.
  10. AXPONA asked me to do a talk on Networking for Audiophiles as part of their Zoom seminar series. This worked out well as I spend a lot of time explaining good networking techniques to my customers. They recorded it an gave me a youtube video. A lot of this information has been covered in the forum before but I put together everything I have learned through my own research and feedback from my customers into one video if anybody is interested.
  11. It won't work at all. 10 GB SFP+ modules are completely different then 1GB modules. The opticalModule wouldn't even know how to "talk" to the module.
  12. The opticalModule is a 1GB device. It won't work with 10 GB SFP+ modules.
  13. I'm not sure why that would happen. I do all testing here with a 6" cable and have not had issues. I wonder if it's an issue with your streamer? It may have problems with short cables.
  14. Looks like the flapping is caused by a damaged SFP. That makes a lot of sense.
  15. There are a large number of customers using the Rendu with no "flapping" issues. Who configured your Cisco switch? We have had a lot of issues with "smart" switches being configured incorrectly. Have you contacted Sonore support. They should be able to help your track down the issue.
