  1. Dear PeterSt, Thank you very very much for for advice. I get it done ! I go to the little loudspeaker icon in the taskbar tray ........exactly follow your instruction. I test it with a 192kHz/24bit music file from 2L Audiophile Reference Recordings, the green light signal on DAC2 shows 48 & X4. IT WORKS ! Thank you again. Cheers, ckfriend

  3. Dear All, Can someone help me to solve my problem ? I am new to DAC2 which I bought a few days ago. I use Windows Vista note book and connect to DAC2 via firewire IEEE1394(4 pins to 6 pins).I have no problem to play the mp3 with itune via DAC2 to preamplifier. But I can't get the DAC2 to tune up to 192 resolution when I play the HRx Sampler disc. I use foobar2000 and itune to play the song in HRx Sampler disc, the sampling rate shown on the DAC2 is still 44.1kHz. I adjust the Sample Rate in the Weiss Firewire IO, from 44.1kHz to 192kHz, then it say "System clock is Locked". When I play the WAV file(song from HRx Sampler) with FooBar2000, the Sample Rate jump back to 44.1kHZ. I read the operating manual and there is a Note on Page 8 : "If there are any problems connecting to the firewire port of your computer, it could well be that the Firewire chipset of your computer is the culprit. Texas Instruments (TI) or LS1 chipsets are recommended for audio via Firewire.NEC type chipsets may cause problems. " My note book is HP Pavilion HDX , may be the the Firewire chipset is the wrong version. But I can play mp3 music with itune via Firewire to DAC2 to my music system. May be I have to buy the MAC PC if I want to listen the 128kHz music file. I would appreciate it if you could help me. Cheers, ckfriend
