  1. Latest versions fixed it for me. Thank you.
  2. Monterey looks like it's thrown a spanner in the works - will report any updates or fixes for the test version which was working fine on an M1 Air. I will not upgrade my Mini (Intel) until I'm sure it will work.
  3. This has been resolved with an updated copy and is working superbly on both Macs.
  4. Very interesting reading about all these impressions. I've had HD800, 800S, Ethers, T1s and somehow always ended up back with my trusty old HD600s. Trying all these things just made me happier with what I had. Not often that happens.
  5. A test version is working superbly on an Intel Mac Mini, but an M1 Air with exactly the same OSX version, set up and software is not. The developer is working on this still. I can't comment on the Windows version.
  6. Great product and this really is what I've been hoping for. Been testing the beta on two machines, an Intel 2014 Mini and 2020 M1 Air, latest OSX on both. It's working well on the Mini after a bit of re-working - creating a new directory in Library that didn't appear when running the install - this prevented installation of the Dirac Processor driver and therefore it didn't place the Dirac Processor as an option to select in Audio MIDI. However, doing the same thing on the Air hasn't produced the same result so the Processor (although showing the driver files in Library so it all looks OK) is not showing as an option and therefore I'm unable to select it. As it's the same load script link being used, I'm unclear why it should work for one machine and not the other.
  7. I can see the market opening for non-streaming simple high quality app that will work with plug ins and a fast remote app. I will stay with 3.5 while I wait.
  8. Unless I'm missing something, there doesn't seem to be anything much here for people who don't stream. My AV is used to play local files, mainly vinyl rips, I have no interest in streaming but like the ability of AV to use my Dirac plug in. I assume 3.5 will just die eventually if not supported by a future OSX. Great shame.
  9. Have you tried playing music then launching Live and selecting device?
  10. Sorry to hear that, the rear wall right behind is a pain.
  11. I move the chair/sofa half it's depth backwards, taking my listening spot into the middle of the sofa for measuring purposes, then measure around that and move it back for listening. Works for me. The only problem would be for those with a wall close behind the listening position - which I always avoid.
  12. Yes results from two projects (even in the same config) will vary very slightly, you can't really avoid it. They will of course sound extremely close and very different from no filter. But when listening critically there will be slight differences. When I did my original project, I measured three (same config - Sofa Narrow) and created a filter with each. They all sounded excellent, differences were very subtle. I ran with the one I preferred. They are very easy to compare in real time and at a consistent volume level. I will load my project later, create a new filter and compare with the original made on the earlier Dirac version.
  13. Did you re-measure the a new project? if so, I would have thought it is likely to sound different because even with the best efforts, putting the mic in precisely the same spots as a previous project would be impossible. Have you tried re-loading an existing project and creating a second filter with the new version for a like for like comparison?
  14. I will need to be sure of that as I have a filter I do not want to lose. Can anyone confirm that recent projects and filters work?
