  1. I'm using DVDAExplorer 208.4.16 Beta 1 On Classic DAD1022 (Cannonball Adderley) it sees VIDEO_TS.IFO and VTS_01_0.IFO as files it can open (not grayed out), but neither produces anything from the program. A Chesky DVD 94/24 SuperAudio Disc gives me the same kind of results. 1. Is there a newer version of DVDAExploerer? 2. Do some disks work and others not? 3. Do I need to rip the disk to my hard drive to strip off copy protection? Thanks for your reply, Chris! I appreciate the site and the forum. It's been indispensable in getting me going. Doug
  2. My goal is simply to extract the HD audio tracks from some Classic DADs (not DVD-audio) I own so I can use then on the server. I guess the PC program of choice is DVD Audio Extractor, but what do you guys recommend to do this on a Mac? I've tried searching the forums and there's lots of discussion on extracting DVD-Audio tracks, and I've done that successfully, but not much the audio tracks on standard DVDs and DADs. Hope this isn't redundant and I've missed something. Doug
  3. Retired -- an audiophile for 40 years. Just got into this crazy world of computer audio and am getting a kick out of it. Haven't moved the server into the high-end system yet, but on the "simple system" it's making progress. Seems to respond to tweeks much in the same way "traditional" audio does. I'm now letting the Lynx board break in to see if that makes a difference. Doug
