    HQ Player

Thanks, put router back in and turned on snooping on switch, working now. Fingers crossed.

    HQ Player

Need network help. I have been running NAS/Roon > HQPlayer embedded 4.31.0/Ubuntu desktop 20.04 > Rpi4 NAA Jussi image > Holo May. All have been connected to cheap Netgear switch with flow control off > Nighthawk MR1100 mobile modem. The wireless on my modem seems to be failing so I added a router Asus TM-AC1900 (connecting MR100 to WAN), that's the only change. As soon as I added the router, skipping started, same as when the cpu is overloaded. Turned on flow control on the switch and turned off snooping, no change. Take router out, all back to normal. Any ideas on what router settings I should look at? Funny, years ago when I tried HQPlayer I could never get it to work, probably because of this same router.
  3. @Miska Can't we just use the .txt files from Github? Here is an example: https://github.com/jaakkopasanen/AutoEq/tree/master/results/oratory1990/harman_over-ear_2018/RAAL-requisite SR1a Which one is the correct one, fixed, graphic, parametric?
  4. Nevermind, figured it out, I guess the old settings changed the port to 80 which is not allowed. I edited the hqplayerd.xml file back to 8088
  5. Thanks, I emailed the log file to you. There is one error on the web viewer, clPlayerDaemon::WebServer(): soup_server_listen_all(): Could not listen on address 0.0.0.0, port 80: Error binding to address 0.0.0.0:80: Permission denied
  6. I followed the steps a few posts up so I guess it's a service? I tried looking in the ubuntu logs but could not find anything. I think I had log file enabled in my old settings.
  7. I got the generic hqplayerd installed on ubuntu desktop and had everything working (at least I saw the hqplayer web interface), then I tried to restore settings (from an hqplayer OS install) now I can't get back into the web interface but the service is still running. What did I mess up? Do I need to start over?
  8. Question, I'm having trouble finding the right embedded image for an older intel chip and ubuntu (need the generic build), all I see is amd builds here but Jussi says he makes both: Index of /bins/hqplayerd/focal/ (signalyst.eu) Nevermind - Jussi told me.
  9. I'm on 2.13 trying to upgrade to 2.14 but I get this error on gp-update: fatal: unable to access 'https://github.com/antonellocaroli/GP-overlay.git/': SSL certificate problem: certificate is not yet valid This is on an Rpi4

  11. Yes, I always do that and a clean.
  12. I tried this and upnp showed up after one reboot (which sometimes does work) but not after entering RAM mode 4. I had to disable then enable to make it show up.
  13. Maybe my problem is the same. Almost every time I restart I have to disable and then enable upmpdcli before it shows up and I am not in RAM mode. This is with Rpi4.
