I have a C.A.P.S. v3 Carbon with an external Paul Hynes linear power supply. This is a very robust power supply with 3 dedicated rails one for the Motherboard one for the SSD and one for the SOtM USB CARD. I am asking $1800.00 o.b.o for both together.

I have a .5 meter Cardas Clear Phono cable that is configured for use with a Meridian Explorer DAC. The cable has a 3.5mm stereo plug on the source end and XLR'S on the other end. This is Cardas best phono cable. It was $750.00 new I am asking $275.00 o.b.o.

I am about to purchase an EMM LABS DAC2X, it does not have a volume control. I have 2 options either run it through my Classe Audio SSP 800 using bypass or run it direct to my amp and use the volume control in Jriver mc17. Both will probably add coloration but I would like to know which one will give the least amount of coloration/distortion.

I have a C.A.P.S. 2.O music server connected through my network to a NAS. The C.A.P.S. keeps going offline does anybody have any suggestions how to keep it from going offline?

This may be redundant but I am confused on how to control my new C.A.P.S. 2.0 with a MacBook wirelessly.

2 questions 1) Which is better usb over ethernet or usb over fiber optic in a hi end audio system? 2) Is there such a thing as a computer/external hard drive hush box?

Are there any DIY instructions on building a firewire 800 to AES/EBU interface?
