  1. Strange indeed. It hasn't happened again since I posted. I did take delivery of an Yggdrasil today so the Bimby will be out of rotation eventually anyway. I just hope this doesn't start happening with the Yggy.
  2. I can't see how RF or static can trip the relays and be perfectly synched with the stove starter. My thinking was that the small arcs generated by the starter could make it back down the line and cause this. My building is definitely old so improper grounding and circuit isolation could definitely be the culprit.
  3. I have had my Schiit Bimby for a couple years now. My fiancée and I have now been in our apartment for over a year and a half. Having a pro audio background I have always run my equipment on a Furman AR-1215 voltage regulator and a Furman PL-PLUS power conditioner. About a year ago I added a very good UPS that protects my iMac, RAID array and other computer peripherals including the Bimby. I leave it on all the time. Perhaps I hadn't noticed it before because I wasn't near the DAC but about a month ago I noticed something quite odd that I'd never experience before. After using the stove to make water for tea my fiancée was starting a burner for a second batch. This time I was at my desk right next to the DAC and as soon as the stove's piezo starter fired, the Bimby's relays would fire in turn. Is it possible for the transients that are generated by the stove's starter to be sent back down the line into the rest of our circuits and cause the DAC's relays to trip? I'm not sure if this is something I should be concerned about. I am filtering the equipment quite a bit already.
